The proposal has been conceived as a simple and subtle insertion into the streetscape, and open corner plot. This bespoke garden pavilion sits detached within its own open corner and aims to add a further layer of character, uniqueness and craftsmanship. The conservation area was designed by Sir Frank Baines, CBE, MVO (1877-1933).

This new addition aims to reinforce and mimic the existing boundary hedging originally designed by Baines for this housing estate. The new curved and organic form follows the boundary lines, popping up above the new hedge. A semi submerged building, this two bedroom home reflects the variation in scale and roof heights creating a distinct village feel of organic character.
