THE KINGSTON ACADEMY
TKA | Kingston upon Thames | Surrey

TKA School carried out works to reorganise their entrance arrangements to provide clear delineation between pedestrian and vehicular movement on site to improve movement routes, safety and segregation, whilst also improving the boundary security and safeguarding of pupils. The works included the reuse of existing and new boundary railings in a variety of styles in addition to new brick walls, brick piers and concrete buttresses. New pedestrian and vehicular gates (manual and automatic) were also installed.

The school was fully operational during the works and careful consideration was inherent to the timing and phasing of works. There were also numerous below ground services and existing trees in and around the proposed works areas that needed to be taken into consideration.
